Yoga and Flowers, Thurs, June 13, 6:30-8ish p.m.

We have so much fun at Yoga and Flowers it’s time to gather for our first one of the season! Come share an evening with us at the farm where we’ll join the powerful and beautiful forces of yoga and flowers. We are so excited to have Lisa King as our instructor! Lisa is a 500 RYT having studied under internationally known, Briohny Smyth. In 2021, she completed her 200 YTT with Vidya Yoga & Fitness and began her teaching journey. With over 15 years of personal yoga practice, she is passionate about creating a comfortable and encouraging environment for all levels. She is also an elementary school counselor in Johnson City Schools, but most exciting for me, she is a flower grower and owns and operates Rosie’s Seeds LLC Flower Farm and sells at the Jonesborough Farmer’s Market!

No experience is necessary and Lisa will gear the class towards all ability levels and ages. We’d even be delighted if other septuagenarians come and join Roy and me! Yoga combines flexibility, strength, and community and we’re most excited about the community. After a 45 minute workout, we’ll transition to buckets of flowers that we will play with and create arrangements in ball jar size vases that you can bring with you (we’ll have some here as well). There should be enough dahlias blooming so we can each cut a stem or 2 also. Each can create a wild arrangement that will look perfect on a kitchen table! We might even make a flower crown.
