We are so excited to host a Holiday Centerpiece Workshop at Aunt Willie’s! Her sweet little brick bungalow is just right for gathering and we we haven’t done a Christmas workshop in years so we just decided it’s time! We have the loveliest assortment of greenery and berries that we have foraged from the farm and from friends which gives this workshop a special sense of community. Pinecones, turkey feathers, orange and apple slices and things that jingle will also be present and add the nicest touches. There will be cookies and a splash of mulled cider to fuel us through the evening and maybe a candy cane or two.

We will arrange in a green pedestal vase that I’ve been saving for almost a year as it seems the perfect match for the holidays. I will create a demo and we will have folk available to help when needed but this vase and these materials come together easily so no experience is necessary. There will of course be time for sharing holiday stories and getting a bit acquainted mixed in with light refreshments and all the creativity.

Space is limited as Aunt Willie’s house is cozy and small but the good news is – there’s heat! Join us if you can for this special holiday gathering.

Description

We will be meeting at  Aunt Willie’s House which is the red brick bungalow at 207 Bruce Doan Rd., Blountville, TN 37617. The house is right on the corner so you’ll pull up in the driveway just as you turn on to Bruce Doan. You can pull into the front yard or pull past the house towards the garage but Roy will be there to help you park.

Aunt Willie’s has its own charm and also has heat which gives an advantage over the Homeplace. All materials are provided but if you have a favorite pair of nippers, bring them along. Registration is not refundable but if for some reason you can’t attend, you can gift your spot to a friend.

We hope you can join us! We will meet rain, snow, or sunshine. Should the weather be too severe we will try to reschedule.
