What a delight it is for us to introduce Aunt Willie’s Wildflowers CSA. We are cutting down the number of weddings this summer, 43 was a bit much last year for this old timer, and we’ve decided to take our extra blooms to make bouquets to share with the community. Flower CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) allow farmers to share bouquets and receive payment early in the season when the cost of seeds and equipment is higher and profit is lower.
So, this year we are offering a 10-week flower CSA bouquet share running from May 20-July 22. Fresh, seasonal flowers grown on our family farm will be arranged and bundled in market style bouquets for each member, offering a unique way to keep homes or offices blooming all season long! A CSA membership is also a great gift for someone who would enjoy a summer full of freshly cut blooms. We have a delightful new farm kiddo, Anna McKay, who will be managing the CSA details.
The cost of the bouquets is $15 per week, making the total cost $150. We’re especially excited to be partnering with always-fun-to-visit Reclaimed Inspired Goods in Johnson City who will serve as our pick-up point. Bouquets may be picked up Saturdays during business hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Reclaimed. If for some reason, you cannot get your bouquet, you can gift that bouquet to a friend who can pick up in your place. Flower shares are limited so act quickly!
You may e-mail Anna at firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text her at 315-297-6493 for payment details. Payment is non-refundable and total payment must be received to reserve your 10 week flower share.
So join us and follow our flower season from snaps and sweet peas to zinnias and dahliaswith all things summer in between.
We look forward to our weekly visits to your homes through our flowers
