So excited to announce that the delightful and talented Kelly Perry of Team Flower will be joining us for the first two days of our workshop and will be leading our centerpiece session!! You will love her!!
Come join us at our century old farm for a Wedding Design Workshop/Retreat where we’ll share a bit of how to grow and a lot of how to create for weddings. We’ll play with loose style arranging using our farm fresh flowers and foliage. Each participant will be led to create the free style of bridal bouquet Linda enjoys the most as well as a table piece and personal flowers. We’ll also get experience with arbors, mantles, stairways, windowsills, and more as we transform the Homeplace built by Roy’s great grandfather in 1870 into a Happily Ever After venue overflowing with lush arrangements we’ll create together.
Time is built in to just relax and enjoy the simple beauty of a family flower farm tucked in the mountains of East Tennessee. Enjoy our three state panoramic views, wander through the Shire gathering woodland floral crown makings, and dine al fresco at each of 3 houses on the farm. Our workspace will include the Homeplace, the transformed Chicken Coop originally built in 1939, and even the Woodland Shire.
A photographer will be on site to capture your creations that can then become part of your personal portfolio. You’ll even get to chat with two of our spring brides/models about their flower experiences.
Fun begins Monday, September 26 late afternoon and ends Wednesday, September 28 at noon. We are 2 miles from TriCities Regional Airport with hotel shuttle service available and we will shuttle you to farm. $900 cost includes all materials and 5 meals. Lodging is not included but a block of rooms is reserved at The Sleep Inn 4 miles from the farm at a rate of $75/night. Limit 10 participants. 6 participants needed for workshop to carry.
